I would suggest putting this table of content in your posts; would be much easier for newcomers to find your book. That's where I went looking for it anyway. I never look at activity when I browse in someone's profile, personally - maybe that's just me.
(I looked because I remember you posted a chapter on my note, so figured it had to be somewhere)
It's just that since your chapters aren't posts either (I guess there's a reason for that (probably since you've got your whole novel here and will take it out once the beta reading stage is over?)), I'm just saying I wouldn't have found it if I hadn't known there was something and looked deeper. Of course, it's up to you to do whatever you want with that info.
Now I get what you mean. Not long ago, I attempted to change the e-mail address for my Substack account (my old one expires soon). Instead, Substack created a new account for my book (which you have seen), leaving my notes etc at the same address. My chapter views dropped dramatically. Honestly, I am at a loss 😭
I'm sorry, I'm fairly new here, and honestly pretty bad with technology so even after a year I probably wouldn't have the answer...
What I'd do with my lack of knowledge, I think, would be re-doing a post with the table of contents. As long as people have the links easily at hand, then they'll click, I'd think.

Thank you. I usually place the “Table of Contents” button at the start of each chapter so that anyone who reads one piece could easily move to another. https://open.substack.com/pub/theorphanedearth/p/in-the-footsteps?utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web
Yes, that's where I found it.

Oh! I see.

Sounds great to me 👍🏻
